Magna mata was founded by Ari
La Chispa and Guido El Tallo in 1991. |

|
The wide palette of their artistic work ranges from purely solo
and duo performances through guest appearances (e.g. in the
Stuttgart State Theatre's production of "Carmen" under the direction
of Carlos Saura) to dance theatre productions and grand performances
with 20 dancers. |

|
Co-productions
with flamenco artists from Jerez, in particular Antonio de los
Rios writing texts and compositions, or with performance artists
from Berlin, such as Dead Chickens, Bob Ruthman, TMF Powersaw
and the actor Oliver Marlo, all help to form magna mata's own
artistic profile. |
